Orange Partnership for Alcohol and Drug Free Youth

Let these stores know that
responsible alcohol sales matters to you!

Help us support and congratulate them for checking IDs and not selling alcohol to
underage buyers. They have not had an Alcohol Purchase Survey or
Compliance Violation* in the previous 12 months.

(Updated July 2017)

*Alcohol Purchase Surveys are conducted by Orange Partnership and involve sending someone over the age of 21 (but who appears to be 18 or 19) into local stores to attempt to purchase alcohol without an id.  Results are used to identify trends and offer support and training. Compliance Operations are conducted by Hillsborough Police Department's ALERT (Alcohol Law Enforcement Response Team), use a buyer under the age of 21, and sales do result in citations.

Join the Safe Homes Network

The Safe Homes Network is a community of parents and other adults who have pledged NOT to provide alcohol, tobacco or other drugs to youth. They are promising to make reasonable efforts to ensure that youth are not obtaining or using these substances in their home or on their property.

The partnership gives network members a directory of others who have signed the pledge. We will also keep members
up-to date on the issue of youth substance abuse through a bi-annual e-newsletter where you can learn how to encourage others to join our efforts.
